It’s funny how the world can be so small sometimes!!! Before walking in to our studio for the first time to interview us, these two had crossed our paths before in very different arenas in our lives. Collectively, we first knew Austin from our school teaching days as a fellow colleague. Going back further, Lou first met Austin during his elementary school days as they played baseball together and remained friends right through all of their high school and college shenanigans. Then comes Meghan. When she first walked in to our studio with Austin, there was something very striking about her. Aside from the fact that she is beautiful, smiley, and bright-eyed, we knew there was something familiar about her but couldn’t quite put our finger on it. Fast forward in our initial conversation and we come to figure out that she had been a hostess at one of our favorite local restaurants that we visited more often than we’d like to admit. Dana & Randy are middle school sweethearts… but not the kind that met when they were 12! In fact, it was much later in life when their paths crossed as middle school teachers. They have been connected ever since. They spent their beginning days sneaking away to NYC exploring while enjoying one another’s company. They found that one of their most cherished locations was the Dumbo section of Brooklyn so when Randy popped the question and Dana said YES, it only came naturally that we’d head there for their session.
